The Importance of Being Earnest

Jack has a lovely life in the country but has created an alter ego; a rebellious brother by the name of Earnest, so that he may run into town whenever he pleases. However his plan starts to unravel when his friend, Algernon, discovers this arrangement and uses it for his own advantage. Eventually the truth must be revealed and the boys are shocked to learn they aren’t the only ones with a secret.

When their identities are revealed will their true loves still want to marry them? Will we ever learn of Jack’s mysterious past? Who ate all the cucumber sandwiches?
